You need to realise that every experience under the sun - including yours - has already been written about.

That is the true and only basis of literature - and since it is in English ---- English Literature.


My professors failed to tell me that. If they had been honest, they would have told me the truth about all literature.

To say otherwise, is to say that every other literature has differences from E.Lit - that every culture created by every human of different cultures has basically different underpinnings.

This goes against my training and beliefs. I am a sociology and lit major -- and my training teaches me to see every society as having the same fundamental underpinnings.


Ok whatever.

Here's report for the day...

Rode nearly 6 hours after work.


Discovered that Haw Par Villa is open after dark -- for free. Ride anywhere -- if you dare.

I didn't.

Put more than 80km on Gina today, and bought a new rigid fork for MS.

Set it up tomorrow coz I think I need a new headset.








That's it. In other news I bred some mosquito lavae for Felicia (actually my dad did) and she snapped them all up in less than two minutes. There must have been 8 at least.

And finally.....



Less than 6 months and less than 1k spent.

I am feeling awesome today.
