The Coffeeshop SuperHeroes - A Cartoon Series
Heroes:
SuperStatic – his special power is that he is extremely hirsute. He carries a silver cane for grounding his excess electricity; Battle cry “Rub me!”
He is in love with
Laksa Girl – aka La-Mei, whose power is that she is very very Hot.
A star-crossed romance, they are fated to never be able to touch each other.
Credit Card Man aka the Batt-Man, who has incredible gadgets for fighting crime that he bought with his Infinite Powers of Credit. However they all run on batteries, his only Achilles Heel.
His sidekick is
Chequebook Boy (his bratty nephew), who has superpowers of accountability and savant-like head computing. In other words, not very superpowerish, but handy when you need to split a tab.
Prata-Man -- uses disc-like pratas as weapons of oily destruction and as shields to protect him from superpower attacks.
Villains:
Dentist Khan
Uses bluetooth controlled devices to conquer the world - one small peripheral at a time. Also use his BT powers to set off his weapons of mass destruction - but his very limited range annoys him greatly.
Papa-Doom, whose special power is the ability to charge up thin crispy crackers as IEDs ala Gambit.
He is married to
Mama-Sand, whose special power is the ability to produce female golems made out of sand - her Girls, so to speak ...
Derrick Tay - has the ability to manipulate liquids and use them as weapons; most powerful liquids being teh-tarik - or as he calls them, Tay-Derricks.
So that's one of my projects for this year. To get it off the ground.
I have a 100% production record and I want to keep it that way.

In other news, Ben Mok is dead.
He the author of Pedal, Damn It!
I never knew him, but so it is with Ken Kifer - you read his blog, you feel like you know the guy.
Happy Trails, up there, Ben.
