Dusky Cat is back in the office. He was so happy to be back, the first thing he did was check out all his hiding places.
Me, I'm just happy that I can finally bring him back every weekend from now on out.
It's been a tremendous act of courage for me to have to bring him home because I had to go to Taipei. I've wanted to bring him home since as early as June 09 (he was mine in Dec 08) but you know, I'm soft. I have been totally prepared to go to office every day for the rest of his life to feed him every day.
I attempted to bring him home in September 09 but he made such a fuss on the way down to the basement carpark (what is that? 5 minutes tops?) that I had a change of heart and brought him back up.
I'm still not sure who is more traumatised by a bath - me or him. He does have a fine singing voice.
I left on the 27th, I came back on the 31st. It's only been 5 days.
In between that, he has lived in my wardrobe (really just a cupboard with clothes) only coming out at night.
He has lost .8kg of weight.
This is the true weight of a heart.
On the plus side, my dad is just as loving as I am (more), so over just 5 days, Dad has managed to win over Dusky. Now Dusky goes to him, whereas he used to just run for the wardrobe everytime Dad was out and about.
Go Dad. You are so great.
You rock.
(Today, Dad woke me up from my afternoon nap to tell me that Mum had a fall in the bathroom while she was being showered ((by Dad)). Nice nasty laceration; he wanted to know if she should be brought to the hospital, henceforth H. But there's only 2 reasons to go to the hospital ((ER no less: 1. life threatening = blood flow doesn't stop --- 2. scar will leave a mark which will damage life (((who's going to look at the back of her head???))) 3. infection risk, ie. animal bite et al.)). I blotted the wound and waited on the recovery. Bleeding stopped.)
I need to hire a maid soon.
(Have you noticed how he sleeps at my feet? He's such a DOG)
This is a pendant (blue star-shaped conglomeration of crystals) that I got off the temple on the top of the Star Moon Lake from Taiwan.
The Chinese translation of it means to bring wealth and fortune.
Dusky is already that.
But a bit more can't hurt ...
