It is not fair to complain about how much your parents want you to make today.

Everyone is doing well now.

When they were raising you, they were fraught with worries about how much they could bring home.

Today, I think my dad gets more disposable income than I get, from my brother and I combined.


Why would anyone sacrifice so much more spending power in the past, so as to have so much less, today?
