I had a shitload of beer, chicken and cheesefries.
Then I went to sleep but my ever so efficient liver metabolised everything
and I was up again at 2.34am. And I remembered I hadn't decided on where I
should go, so I went to read www.crazyguyonabike.com journals.
Stupid liver.
But I have decided.
It's going to be Malacca.
Funny, I remember telling my friends since the time I was 16 that I wanted
to cycle to Malacca.
Everyone told me: please don't. You'll die.
But Malacca it is. It's only 260km by highway so by the back roads it's only
about 2 days travel each way.
And the travel dates are perfect because I'll only need to take one day off,
coming back to work on Tuesday or Wednesday if I stay longer in Malacca.

It has me wondering: would it be worth it to cycle up Genting Highlands?
My adventure is about to begin.
I'm meeting a bunch of bike hashers ( www.twa.com.sg/sbh ) on 6
Jan for the first time, and I'll ask if anyone wants to join me then.
I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it.
I remember as a kid, I visited West Malaysia and we went up this hill in a
cable car, and we were so high up that a pond/lake below looked like a
mirror in the ground. Does anyone know where that is?
It's somewhere along Malacca/KL. I want to go visit it.
OR I could go look up my friend Andre in Penang, that is, if he still lives
there. Andre and I used to work in an ad agency named DVG Whartons.
So many questions.
It'll be fun!
