My window faces west, more or less. It's a nice sunset but I have seen better. This is at least 20 minutes more to sundown. I will head out to the beach when I am free to snap that. Once again, I am sad that there are no filter threads. A filter would really help there. Then again that's the price you pay for portability. Maybe I'll just get some Cokins and a filterholder that mounts to the tripod screwhole.

Actually I developed this shot from RAW, and I was able to restore some detail back to the buildings. However, my PC is really one kind of slow. Can you imagine I used it to edit video? Then again I *do* have a specialised card with video editing hardwired in. Fat lot of good it is for images though.

I'm going to upgrade my computer soon: but note to self: only after I have dumped out 6 hours of video onto archival DVDs. And then I'll do a reformat of the entire system and see what's really slowing it down. And I'll see if more RAM can resolve the speed issue. Am really against spending more money now that I have so many things to pay for.

Boy this is a lot like my trucks. Am I falling into a money pit? My bike still needs a whole new drivetrain. Darnit. And grips. And a speedo that glows in the dark would be nice. And and and...
